ACO's hygienic drainage portfolio meets strict hygiene requirements to prevent harmful bacterial contamination, protecting your Halal products where it is needed. We apply the relevant hygienic design principles reserved for food contact surfaces EN 1672, EN ISO 14159, EHEDG hygienic design standards to the drainage design.
ACO creates the environmental drainage solutions of the future
Complex and detailed drainage concepts are needed to cope with the extreme weather events we are increasingly experiencing. ACO achieves this with intelligent solutions that work in two directions: protecting people from water and vice versa - water from people.
We see the market through the eyes of our customers, identify with their needs and create solutions that meet their requirements. We are a market leader with extensive international experience and a comprehensive local approach.
Halal Certification Europe (HCE) has been a leading provider of comprehensive international halal certification since 1992. Their globally recognized accreditations, including approvals from JAKIM (Malaysia), MUI (Indonesia), MUIS (Singapore), CICOT (Thailand) and other reputable Halal authorities, enable businesses to meet halal requirements and seamlessly enter new markets.
Cleanability research findings conducted by the renowned Fraunhofer Institute IVV Dresden in 2016 demonstrated that ACO's hygienically designed channel dramatically improves cleanability, making it ideal for Halal food production.
The tests showed that the ACO hygienic channel can be efficiently cleaned without additional mechanical cleaning steps, taking approximately 8 minutes of cleaning time with 0% residual soiling. This level of cleanliness aligns perfectly with the strict hygiene standards required for Halal food processing. In contrast, the cleaning of the non-hygienic channel required considerably more effort, and it was not possible to completely clean it within the tested cleaning procedure time, making it unsuitable for Halal food production facilities.
Adopting ACO's hygienically designed channels ultimately helps Halal food and beverage manufacturing companies to enhance the safety of their facilities, ensure the quality of their Halal products, and reduce cleaning costs and time. Associated benefits include hygienic design, economic time and cost savings, and facility safety, all of which are crucial aspects in Halal food production.
In an increasingly water-stressed world, effective surface water management is paramount. From urban areas characterized by impervious surfaces to industrial sites, the importance of skillfully collecting, cleaning, holding and reusing water can not be overstated.
Every application, whether residential, commercial or industrial, presents distinct challenges requiring tailored approach. By recognizing these differences and implementing context-specific solutions, we not only enhance water quality but also reduce pressure on overwhelmed natural systems.
Integrating innovative technologies and infrastructure that support the infiltration, treatment, and recycling of stormwater can play a transformative role. Such systems can reduce runoff volumes, diminish pollutant loads, and replenish local aquifers, ultimately promoting water autonomy and security.
By fostering a holistic and integrative approach to surface water management, we do more than safeguard our water resources. We pave the way towards a sustainable future where water systems are managed with foresight and ingenuity, ensuring their viability and health for the well-being of both the planet and its inhabitants. In doing so, we not only address the present-day challenges but also fortify our resilience against the uncertainties of a changing climate, securing a legacy of abundance and sustainability for future generations.
